The Munson Healthacre Smith Family Breast Health Center will open at Copper Ridge in early 2008.
Services will include digital screening and diagnostic mammography, minimally invasive breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and bone density testing.
The Breast Health Center is the next step in Munson Healthcare’s ongoing effort to develop improved services for breast health. Private consultation rooms, preoperative education, and emotional support will improve the patient’s experience. Patients also will be able to make appointments with private vendors in a boutique setting for prosthetic care, wigs, clothing, and other special needs.
